Computer Survival Skills 6: Basic Website Design (With No Programming)

This 6-hour, instructor-led, course is designed for adult learners seeking a BRIEF introduction to Website Design using Web 2.0 resources.  No previous experience with programming is required.  Adult learners will:
 
1.      Identify Effective and Engaging Website Designs
2.      Compare Blog and Website Web 2.0 Tools
3.      Prepare file types (Images, Documents, etc.) for Blog or Website Sharing
4.      Design Blog to Connect with Educational and Professional Resources
  5.      Design Website to Connect with Educational and Profesional Resources
  6.      Integrate Google Tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides) with Blog or Website
 
Required Prerequisites:
None
 
Recommended Prerequisites:
Completion of Computer Survival Skills (CSS) Classes 1-5, or
Earn a score of at least 80% on the Computer Skills Assessments from CSS Classes 1-5
 
Adult Learner Supplies:
Notepad, Pen or Pencil
OPTIONAL: Work-based images, document samples or scanned diplomas, certificates & credentials
