Computer Survival Skills 4: Google Tools 1 - Drive/Docs

This 6-hour, instructor-led, course is designed for adult learners seeking a BRIEF introduction to the BASIC features of Google Drive and Google Docs. Adult learners will work with:
 
1.      Google Drive (web-based document creation and storage platform)
2.      Configuring Google Drive Across Devices
3.      Google Docs vs. Microsoft Word (Overview of featuers and file formats)
4.      Creating and Editing files in Google Docs
  5.      Sharing Google Docs Between Devices
6.      Sharing and Updating Google Docs Simultaneously with Multiple Users
 
Required Prerequisites:
None
 
Recommended Prerequisites:
Completion of Computer Survival Skills (CSS) Classes 1-3, or
Earn a score of at least 80% on the Computer Skills Assessments from CSS Classes 1-3
 
Adult Learner Supplies:
Notepad, Pen or Pencil
OPTIONAL: Bring Personal Tablet, Smartphone or Laptop
