Once certification is received, you may qualify for officer positions in local/municipal police departments, county sheriff departments, state facilities, and hospitals. Class size is limited to the first 20 registrants. If the class is full, you may be placed on a waiting list for the next class. This class is offered twice per year for both day and evening hours. Daily attendance is mandatory and some weekend days will be required. This program is approved by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council.

- Age 21 or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
